British Airways said Thursday that the personal and financial details of customers were stolen in a data breach involving 380,000 bank cards. And then in other news, personal details of two million people were exposed online by a controversial tracking app that allows parents to spy on their children. The app, named mSpy, gives users complete access to another person's smartphone, allowing them to see everything from their texts and Facebook messages to their location and browsing history.

Right now in Kerala, India, there is a disaster progressing - floods. The monsoon flooding has severely hit 12 of Kerala's 14 districts, with thousands of homes damaged since June 2018 and thousands of peoples lives are being turned upside down.
For Africa to realise its huge insurance potential, local companies must increase the size of their balance sheets, enhance the quality of their technical training and improve their trans-national reach within the continent itself.
